Can I contact you through social media for customer support?

Customer service for existing customers is only available via email.

Any inquiries submitted via social media will be directed to our general info mailbox info@mymahoganyhouse.com, which will result in delayed responses.

How does your shipping work?

Currently, we ship exclusively via USPS to provide the reliable and cost effective shipping for all customers.

Every package sent via USPS is assigned a unique tracking number. as well as $100 worth of package insurance. See Shipping Policy for more details claim filing and eligibility.

For larger orders, above $100, we have partnered with 3rd party insurers to provide additional coverage that can be added to you order at checkout.

Where do you ship and how long does it take?

We currently only ship to the continental US.

Shipping time depends on your location, but as we are a Chicago-based business, most packages will arrive in 5 days or less.

Please note that the shipping times mentioned above DO NOT include processing and packaging time.

Are your candles environmentally friendly and cruelty free?

Our candles and wax melts are environmentally friendly and safe for your entire family.

We use  blend of coconut based
waxes that are natural and free of parabens and phthalates.

Our candles and wax melts are are vegan as well as cruelty-free

How can i be sure your candles are safe?
  1. We only purchase from suppliers that are committed to being paraben and phthalate free.
  2. While we cannot share proprietary trade secrets, our suppliers provide us with documentation that all of our ingredients adhere to the safe usage rates based on the International Fragrance Association's (IFRA) 49th Amendment standards. What is your return policy?

We have an industry best return policy. This means that is you purchase a candle and are unsatisfied with it, you can return it within 14 days for a full refund of your purchase price.

NOTE: This policy only applies to 10 oz candles purchased directly from our site MyMahoganyHouse.com

To initiate a return, you will need to reach out to returns@mymahoganyhoues.com  

Please note, We do not have an exchange policy, but recommend submitting a return and then purchasing the desired candle as a separate transaction.

                                  

Can I return a candle if it has already been lit?

Yes!

Unlike most candle makers with no-burn return policies, we offer a Zero-risk, burn-and-return policy so that you can fully experience your candle and send it back if you don’t love it.

Those other guys won't do that!

When and how will i receive my refund?

For eligible items, refunds will be returned to your original form of payment in 5-7 days

While there are no restocking fees for returns, the customer is responsible for return
shipping. See our Candle Return Policy for more details.
